More Madonna Babies
Reports are going around that Madonna is desperate to adopt another child, this time a girl, from Malawi. The Queen of Pop allegedly wants to adopt a 2-year old girl named Mercy James. Her mother died after giving birth which left her to live in an orphanage. However, the child’s family says that they are not interested in having her adopt the baby. Apparently, Madonna tried to push the adoption last year but Mercy’s uncle blocked it. Madonna tried again in May but the family said that they will only agree if Mercy was returned to them at 6 years old. The girl’s grandmother says “When Mercy is no longer a baby we want her back. I do not want the money they said they'd give me.” If she has a grandma and an uncle trying to block Madonna’s adoption, why don’t they just adopt her?
